    • PBF vs McGregor Buyrate

“If we don't reach the record, we're going to be very, very close.”

    • PBF vs McGregor Live Gate

“Floyd would have stopped McGregor a lot earlier if he worked even a little bit. Floyd did not train for that fight. He literally whupped that boy, that’s what he did. Just imagine if my son would have prepared and would have trained the way he normally would for a fight. He would have stopped McGregor even sooner.

What the world saw was only about 50 percent of what my son is capable of doing. Yes, you can say it: It was like he literally came off the street to beat that man. That’s how good my son is. That’s basically it. I used to run with my son, but we haven’t ran together in a long time. As far as I’m concerned, he didn’t run for this fight. Floyd didn’t put all of what Floyd could do in the McGregor fight.

If the real Floyd Mayweather Jr. would have showed up for the McGregor fight, McGregor wouldn’t have gotten out of the second round.”
Ein Trainingspartner von Floyd antwortete darauf:
“Floyd hit the speed bag or did a light run, but he spent more time promoting the fight and at his businesses than preparing for McGreogr. There’s no way around it; Floyd is a genetic freak. He’s been fighting so long that things just come naturally to him. All this social media stuff about McGregor going 10 rounds with the best in the world is (expletive). It’s actually the other way around: A 50-percent version of Floyd Mayweather came off the street and pounded one of the world’s best MMA fighters and hardly trained to do it. It says how much better Floyd is than McGregor.”

    • Floyd Mayweather Jr. behauptet, was eh alle schon wissen….

“Everybody tried to protest the Mayweather-McGregor fight, right? But I’m gonna tell y’all the truth, I’m gonna tell y’all the truth. You know I carried McGregor. You know I made it look good for y’all.”

“Wasn’t Oscar De La Hoya the same one trying to protest and stop the fight? Now, he trying to fight Conor McGregor. Is he a hypocrite or is he back on coke again?”

    • Conor McGregor trollt weiter

      Troll McGregor schrieb:

“He’s a tactical genius in there. He changed his game plan three times, that’s the sign of a true champion. First, Philly shell, second rope-a-dope, third when both of those was getting picked at, he went Mexican style, hands up, knuckles above the eyebrows, dipped in low an just walked forward. It’s like an ugly boxing style.

But he was able to change that game plan three times. It’s the sign of a true champion. He got the win, fair play to him.”

If it happened in a rematch, it’s a simple adjustment of me having a heavier sparring partner coming in, in the later rounds, and lean on me and walk me down. Where as in my sparring in the lead up to the camp, we were always against fast, twitchy, light on their toes opponent with a Philly shell style and their backs against the ropes. Never against forward pressure because he’s never fought like that so it took us by surprise and I got beat.

If I had a rematch, I would correct that and I would beat him. He’s retired. I’m not going to start calling him out of retirement. I’m going to leave him to it. If it happens, maybe it will, who knows — I would beat him no doubt.”

“When we did the Mayweather fight, I watched and took it all in, I just think all these guys, the guys who are promoting boxing today are bad at it. I don’t think they do a good job, and I think I could do better. It sounds arrogant, but it’s the truth. I think I could do a better job than these guys do.

You know, think about this, and I don’t give a s**t about Showtime’s f**king full-of-s**t press release they put out. It’s the biggest fight ever in combat sports history. The thing did over 6.7 million buys, and if the service didn’t drop, we would have got closer to seven million. It was the biggest event ever. It was the biggest boxing event ever, without a boxer. It was only one boxer involved in the fight.

I still question the numbers. The way that they handled that press release and what they did — I didn’t trust them before and now I despise those f–king guys. The Showtime guys, I’ll never work with them again. Ever.”
