      Joe Rogan hat bekannt gegeben das Vitor Belfort tatsaechlich anfang Februar bei seinem Dopingtest positiv getestet wurde. Rogan:”They gave Belfort a random drug test and Vitor was on testosterone. That was the reason that testosterone got banned in Nevada in the first place. The whole thing went down when Vitor tested positive with the Nevada State Athletic Commission… Because he tested positive, they scrapped the whole testosterone program.”

      Das waere mittlerweile Belfort`s zweiter positiver Test, der dann dazu fuehrte das TRT Programm in Nevada und dann den anderen Staaten verboten wurde. Es wurde schon im Januar spekuliert das Belfort positiv getestet wurde bei dem Test, aber nicht bestaetigt. Nur Vitor Belfort selbst kann das Test Resultat veroeffentlichen vor der Anhoerung bei der State Athletic Commission und das lehnte Belfort ab. Belfort hat aber am 17 June eine Anhoerung bei der NSAC, womit spaetestens bei diesem Termin das Test Resultat veroeffentlicht wird von der NSAC.

      Vitor Belfort soll eigentlich als naechstes auf Chael Sonnen treffen bei UFC 175 am 5 July, doch mit seinem zweiten positiven Test, sollte er mindestens ein Jahr gesperrt werden. Manche lernen es einfach nicht, und bei Belfort wuerde es mich nicht wundern wenn er ein grossteil seiner Karriere durch gedopt war, zuletzt ja sogar legal durch TRT. Aber es holt einen alles irgendwann ein.

    • Ich finde man sieht es ihm aber auch extrem an, wenn er doped oder nicht. Man sah es ihm immer schon an. Und das zeigt einfach das er ein dummer Mensch sein muss, der seine Karriere und viel Geld einfach verloren hat aufgrund Dummheit.

      Ich glaube, wenn man die Gegenrechnung aufstellt, wieviel Geld Belfort durch seine Top-Leistungen unter Dopingeinfluss in seinem Sportlerleben verdient hat kommt er immer noch besser weg als hätte er nicht gedopt.

      Nach dem Joe Rogan den positiven Test bekannt gab, bestaetigt Vitor Belfort nun diesen selbst. Belfort sagt das der positive Test dadurch kam das er auf TRT war, dafuer aber keine Lizenz hatte, diese aber beantragen wollte.

      Belfort`s Statement:
      “In anticipation for my hearing before the Nevada State Athletic Commission, I want to address questions concerning a drug test I took back on February 7, 2014, that was requested by the NSAC. At the time that test was taken, I was considering filing for a therapeutic use exemption for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) from the NSAC. While I had not made formal application for a TUE, the NSAC nonetheless requested I take the test and I willingly complied. I further confirmed to the NSAC, in writing, the widely known fact that I was then presently on TRT and had been for many years leading up to that test and that I had further taken the TRT dosage recommended by my doctors the day prior.

      The results of the February 7, 2014, test indicated that my testosterone level was above the therapeutic range. While levels slightly outside the normal therapeutic range are not uncommon for some undergoing a TRT regimen, and my doctors immediately modified my therapy to return me to within the therapeutic range (as you can see the 22nd February test results was normal), I do want to acknowledge that the February 7, 2014 test indicated my level was above the range.

      Since that February 7, 2014 test, I have taken several subsequent tests, in late February, March, April and May, and the results of each test indicate my levels were either normal or below normal. To avoid any ambiguity, I am releasing, along with this statement, the results of all the test noted above and will provide the same to NSCA for their consideration as part of my licensing application. I further welcome any additional testing that the NSAC deems appropriate and necessary with respect to being granted the privilege of a license to fight here in the State of Nevada.

      Shortly thereafter, on February 27, 2014, the NSAC banned all TRT and I stopped my TRT treatment that very same day. Now I am applying for a license in Nevada. I don’t want any clouds hanging over my ability to compete and I understand it is my responsibility to prove to the NSAC that I have the requisite fitness to be licensed in Nevada.

      I truly appreciate and thank the Commission for considering my application, and I look forward to providing any information and answering any questions that the NSAC might have on June 17. And if the NSAC sees fit to grant my application, I look forward to fighting on July 5, 2014 in Las Vegas and again proving that I am one of the best fighters in the world.”


      Die SAC sollten mehr Ueberraschungstests machen, dann wuerde man mehr Fighter aus dem Gym rennen sehen...oder gleich zuruecktreten, wie folgender:


      Chael Sonnen beendet Karriere nach positiven Dopingtest
      Nach dem Sonnen im Mai einen Ueberraschungsdopingtest der NSAC machen musste, und positiv getestet wurde erklaerte er nun seinen Ruecktritt vom MMA. Sonnen versuchte sich zuerst noch heraus zureden, aber als er merkte das niemand seine Ausreden glaubt trat er einen Tag spaeter zurueck.

      Es war Sonnen`s zweiter positiver Test in seiner Karriere. Besonders lustig ist es wenn man seine Aussagen zu Belfort`s positivem Test in Betracht zieht oder seine Aussagen das er nie dopen wuerde.
