      für mich als grosser Kubrick-Fan, war es besonders schön zu erfahren, dass sein letzter Film ein Meisterwerk ist.... für mich ist Eyes Wide Shut most underradted ever.....lieber RDLA, könntest du mal darüber reviewen? :winke:

    • Ich bin doch auf neue Filme umgestiegen. ;)

      Eyes Wide Shut ist wahrlich leider in der Kritik damals vollends durchgefallen. Aber wer hört schon auf die Kritik. ;) Es ist eben ein Kubrik udn entweder man wird damit warm oder eben nicht.

    • Da gibt es eine witzige Geschichte zu dem Film.Und zwar war ich in einem Hotel in Edmonton.Nachts wollte ich mir dann einen Film anschauen im Pay TV und da habe ich mir dann fuer $6Can, Eyes Wide Shut angeschaut.Nach gerademal 1 Stunde habe ich denn Film wieder abgeschaltet man war der mies.Jedenfalls nicht mein Geschmack,der film ist auf jedenfall bei meiner Flop Liste in den Top Ten.Ich weiss auch nicht wieso der film underrated sein soll ;) Das war bisher der einzige Film fuer denn ich was gezahlt habe und wo ich es bereut habe und ihn nicht zuende schaute.

      Ach Gotteslaesterung,ich mag Full Metal Jacket von Kubrick das muss reichen ;)
      Ich kann mich aber noch daran erinnern das der Film ziemlich uebel im Kino gefloppt ist,naja der grossteil hat vielleicht doch geschmack gezeigt ;)

    • Du weißt doch, Nef, dass das Einspielergebnis recht wenig mit der Qualität eines Films zu tun hat.

      Und es scheint mir als hast du von Beginn an den Film nicht verstanden. ;)

      das schon aber es kann damit zutun haben.Wenn ein Film der gehyped wurde dann doch floppt dann muss etwas nicht stimmen.BSP The Rundown der Film von The Rock,der war sowas von schlecht und floppte in den Kinos.Obwohl er ja gehyped wurde wie sonstwas und es spielte ja auch Stiffler und Christopher Walken mit

    • Hätte,wo wir schon bei Underrated sind,einen neuen Kandidaten für den most Overrated Film:Moulin Rouge Wie der auf Premiere gelaufen ist,hab ichs immerhin geschafft die ersten 30 Minuten wach zu bleiben.Echt schrecklich der Film,dieses blöde Gesinge und die hässliche Kidman mittendrin. :nervous:

    • Ist das hier der Thread der Gotteslästerungen? So redet man nciht über Baz Luhrman und auch nicht über Nicole Kidman. Wenn dir noch ein paar wirklich gute Argumente gegen den Film, die du auch plausibel begründen kannst, einfallen, melde dich wieder. ;)

      Der Film gefällt dir nicht. Gut, das ist mehr als nur dein gutes Recht. Aber ein wenig Objektivität wäre manchmal nicht so schlecht. ;)

    • Jetzt steh ich natürlich scheiße da,da ich nur die erste halbe Stunde sehen konnte. :D Nunja,der Film ist schlichtweg langweilig.Es wird keine Handlung erzählt,es gibt nur diese komischen Lieder im Moulin Rouge.Soweit ich mich erinnern kann,stand in der Fernsehzeitung irgendwas von Love-Story,da hats mich schon gegraust.Irgendwie haben alle blöd rumgetanzt,und als das 20 Minuten so ging wurde es mir einfach zu dumm und ich bin schlafen gegangen.Ich werd mal schauen ob ich jetzt mehr schaffe wenn er auf RTL kommt. ;)
      Baz wer?Laut OFDB hat der Romeo und Julia gedreht,oh Gott auch so n Mist. :rolli: Allein schon dass Leonardo Di Schwuchtel mitspielt macht ihn ja schon schlecht,aber dann auch noch dieser völlig unpassende Stil mit moderner Handlung und original Dialogen.Schrecklich.

    • Ich glaube hier ist jede Argumentation sinnlos. Schön, die Filme gefallen dir nicht. Aber du hast auch ganz genau gesagt, was Luhrmanfilme ausmachen. Die Ästhetik. Das war bei Moulin Rouge der Fall und auch bei Romeo und Jula. Und nur weil man einen Schauspieler nicht leiden kann, heißt das noch lange nciht, dass der Film schlecht ist. DiCaprio ist btw. ein guter Schauspieler, was er auch schon oft genug bewiesen hat.

      Zurück zu Romeo und Julia. Eben der Mix aus moderner Handlung und den Original Shakespearzitaten machen den Film zu dem was er ist, ein kleines Meisterwerrk.

      Oh Gott. :rolli: Der Film ist echt schwach,an Di Caprios Leistung kann ich mich nicht mehr so wirklich erinnern,werd sie aber sicher nicht gut gefunden haben.

      Titanic
      Da spielt er auf seine Weise ...naja gut,zu ihm passt halt die Lover-Rolle irgendwie,auch wenn ich den Film extremst scheiße finde.

      Romeo und Julia
      Dummer Film,dumme Handlung,dumme Schauspieler,einfach nur kacke.

      Btw,wenn ich Ästhetik sehen will schaue ich mir Fincher an,der macht sehr gute Filme,Sieben,Fight Club,Panic Room.

    • Wobei die Fincher Ästehtik eine komplett andere ist als die eines Luhrman. Aber manche sehen es eben als Reizüberflutung. Vergleichen kann man die beiden Regisseure einfach nciht, da Luhrman eben auch ganz andere Filme macht als ein Fincher.

      Was DiCaprio kann hat er gezeigt in Gangs of New York, Marvins Töchter, Jim Caroll, Gilbrt Grape usw. Natürlich hatte er auch Schrottrollen, doch man muss schließlich auch ein paar Dollars verdienen.

    • Das liegt dann aber am Geschmack des einzelnen,ich mag Finchers düsteren Stil,Luhrmann ist mir einfach zu grell.Ich kann das auch nur aus der Rolle eines (relativen) Laien bewerten,da ich nunmal keine Filmwissenschaften studiere.Deshlab will ich auch keinesfalls bestreiten dass du mehr Ahnung hast als ich(wobei ich mir bei Horrorfilmen nicht so sicher bin,ist ja nicht ganz dein Spezialgebiet ;) .

    • Dass der Geschmack für das Gefallen eines Filmes verantwortlich ist, habe ich wohl deutlich genug gesagt. ;) Ich wollte nur zeigen, dass nicht einfach sagen sollte, der Film ist schiesse weil er mir nicht gefällt, sondern sollte dies schon halbwegs vernünftig begründen.
