Punk Gegner? - Nefercheperur - 12.12.2014

Ueber Twitter schrieb er:“This punk is going to be 'one & done' in the UFC. It looks like I will be that one. #JustWonTheLottery”

Zitat:“I don’t dig it. He has got no fights. I know he’s a big draw. I looked him up. Everyone’s going to buy tickets. It’s going to be great for the venue and the UFC, but at the same time, it downgrades all the fighters.

He might do great, but why does he get a chance? He’s an amateur. You’re going to put an amateur in there with pros? That makes us all amateurs, so I think it’s ridiculous. As far as I’m concerned, f-ck him, f-ck the whole situation. Anybody who takes that fight is tripping.

If I want to, I can’t go play in the NBA – not even Stefan Struve’s big ass. He can’t go play in the NBA if he wants to because he feels like making a change. For a publicity thing? They wouldn’t pay him no money, and they wouldn’t even let him play. It’s ridiculous.

I don’t think you should just let some millionaire WWE guy just come on over and play a little game, like have fun with his career. I’m over here busting my ass, fighting for 10 years and doing my thing and having a serious job that I have to do for this. And this guy is going to come over and probably get paid more than everyone in the room.

I’m sorry, but this guy’s making a joke out of my serious life and getting compensated more for it. I don’t mean no harm on him, but I don’t think it’s right.”

Conor McGregor ueber CM Punk - Nefercheperur - 17.12.2014

“As far as the CM Punk thing, he has a different fanbase, the WWE fans. To be honest, it's weird to me to let an amateur come in and do it in the pro game. I mean, who knows what his skill level is like? I would like to see it the way they done it with former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Brock had one or two fights in the smaller league. Brock was a different animal all together. He had Division 1 All-American wrestling status. He was a freestyle wrestling champion. Plus he was a f***ing monster of a man. “

Und weiter ueber Punk:
“Listening to him speak, when I heard the broadcast announcement I saw a man afraid. Like he signed up for something he didn't want to be. When the shin bone cracks the body or the elbow cracks or the heel cracks... It doesn't get much more real than that. Personally, I don't think he should be in this league just yet, but again, you bring asses to the seats, you bring eyeballs to the screen and we will give you a shot.”

Dana White ueber CM Punk Signing Kritiker und Ben Askren - Nefercheperur - 21.12.2014

Dana White sagte nun:
Zitat:“Some people love it, some people hate it. The people who are opposed to it and bitching about it, I get it. Every fight that we do isn't going to be everybody's thing, but there will be people who want to watch him and those that don't.

He and I have become friends. And he told me, ‘I've achieved some cool things in my life and I want to try the UFC. It's not like I'm young enough to fight my way up in the smaller leagues. I'd like to come in and give it a shot and see what I got.

The thing is with Ben Askren is that Ben Askren doesn't really want to fight here, in my opinion," White said in response. "People that are close to him say the same thing. The guy is making a ton of money to fight nobodies, but when you talk and you say a lot of things it keeps your name out there. Trust me when I tell you this, Ben Askren does not want to fight in the UFC. Believe me when I tell you that.”

-Dana White:“Askren doesn't want to fight in the UFC.”

CM Punk trainiert bei Roufus Sport! - Nefercheperur - 28.12.2014

Don Fryes Meinung ueber CM Punk - Nefercheperur - 30.12.2014

wie immer sehr diplomatisch...

Zitat:“I thought he pulled out like 4 hours after he signed the contract. I thought maybe the common sense fairy came by and tapped him on his shoulder and said "hey dumbass, this isn’t WWE". I mean god damn it, who's that big blonde fairy who has the belt for the WWE? [He's] from North Dakota, or South Dakota, or one of them. East Dakota? The Minnesota Viking. What’s his name? [Brock Lesnar] Yeah Lesnar. Yeah he found out real fast. He was supposed to be god's answer to Satan, or Satan's answer to Christ, and he found out real fast that’s not the place to be. He got hit, and man it changed his - he wanted to back, go to work in McDonalds.”

Zitat:“No, no. I think it’s a pipe dream, you know. It’s a pipe dream. Back when this thing first started out, you know everybody likes to compare the difference; and everybody when they first started, everybody was a world champion. One, or two, or three, or four, or five times world champion at whatever style they were, you know. Or a 10 time national wrestling champ. They had all been doing it for 10, 15, 20 years. And somebody just can’t sit there watching the show on the couch eating Fritos and say "hey I think I can do this". Nah you’re an idiot. You’re going to get hurt and you to deserve to get hurt for thinking that way.”

Jon Jones Meinung ueber CM Punk - Nefercheperur - 31.12.2014

Jones hofft das Punk ausgeknockt wird.

Zitat:“I think it’s an awesome thing for the sport, it’s gonna bring a lot of publicity. I went to my first WWE match this year and the enthusiasm and emotion on the fans faces, it was like they were watching real fighting in the UFC. I do have a respect for the influence of the WWE and the passion of the fans. I found it awesome to watch for myself and the audience. At the same time it would be a bad thing only because every day I’m at the gym watching these kids training. These guys have no money and they’re training their tails off, giving up everything to be a fighter. Living in the gym, eating turkey and peanut butter, bare minimum to chase this dream and then a superstar like him just gets to jump into the UFC just because he knows the right people and has a name. I just think it’s unfair for the people who have been working their tails off to earn this opportunity. That’s why I really hope UFC gives him a real opponent so we can watch him get knocked out.

Cole Millers Meinung ueber CM Punk - Nefercheperur - 03.01.2015

“This guy doesn’t just have a chance, he’s gonna kick somebody’s ass. I think he’ll do very well. I don’t think he’s trying to make a 10-year career out of this. But he’s going to shake things up, whoop some ass and prove a lot of people wrong. I expect him to do very well against whoever they put up against him.

I think most MMA fighters don’t have any kind of ground. Most of them aren’t good at all. Even in the UFC. There are plenty of exceptions, but when I say most, I mean more than 50 percent are nothing more than OK blue belts on the ground. I would rate CM Punk definitely above that.”
