Ansonsten zu der News von Fox, auch das ist wieder ein Beweiss das die WWE Drogenpolitik ein Witz ist. Chris Benoit wurde waehrend diesem Zeitraum von May 2006 bis May 2007, viermal getestet, alle negativ, zuletzt eben am 10 April 2007. Jetzt wissen wir aber das in diesem Zeitraum Chris Benoit soviel Steroide nahm, das selbst Ronnie Coleman blass werden wuerde. Also frage an WWE, wie konnte das passieren wenn ihr doch eine so gute “Wellness“ Policy habt? Die Medien werden sich darauf stuerzen.

Don’t breathe a word of this. Because nobody’s supposed to know. But the woman who found the bodies of WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son is in Boston hiding out while the worldwide media stakes out her home in Georgia.

Holly McFague, a former Boston publicist, lived next door to the Benoits in suburban Atlanta and had a key to their home. She went in to check on the family after Benoit’s WWE colleagues, who received bizarre text messages from the wrestler, called police to check on their well-being.

“To say she is upset is an understatement,” said George Regan, who is representing McFague, his former employee at Regan Communications. “She’s very shaken up and she can’t go home because her house is surrounded by media.”

Police believe the pro wrestler known as “The Canadian Crippler” strangled his wife, Nancy Daus Benoit, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, before hanging himself last week on the cable of a weight-machine in his home.

According to Regan, police went to McFague’s house and accompanied her to the wrestler’s home to check on the Benoits. But the officers were afraid to go inside because there were two large attack dogs.

“Holly knew the dogs and they knew her so she went in alone,” Regan said. “She found the body of the wife and son and ran screaming from the house.”

Regan said McFague, who runs an events company in Atlanta, had spoken to Benoit sometime on Saturday and he told her his wife and son were sick with food poisoning.

“He told her this big, long story about how sick they were,” Regan said. “At the time she was thinking that it was way too much information.”

Police believe that Benoit killed his wife on Friday, June 22, strangled his son on the 23rd and then committed suicide on 24th. The bodies were discovered in the afternoon of June 25.

Regan said McFague was close to Nancy and her son, who suffered from Fragile X syndrome that causes mental retardation, but that she didn’t care for Benoit.

“She found him very odd to say the least,” he said. “But she was very close to his wife, and the little boy was friendly with her children.”

Regan said McFague kept horses at her home and that Daniel would come over to see the animals frequently.

Police have not said what they believe is the motive for the slayings, although steroids were found in the house, leading to speculation that Benoit may have executed his family in a fit of “’roid rage.”

World Wrestling Entertainment vowed to make "any improvements necessary" to its drug testing policy Monday, as the doctor of Chris Benoit was accused of providing the dead pro wrestler with massive amounts of steroids.

Federal prosecutors indicted Dr. Phil Astin of Carrollton, Ga., Monday on charges that he illegally dispensed painkillers, including Percocet, Xanax, Lorcet and Vicoprofen, to two patients between April 2004 and September 2005.

Police in Benoit's suburban Atlanta community say Benoit, 40, last month strangled his wife Nancy, 42, choked to death his son Daniel, 7, and finally hanged himself.

Although Benoit was not named in the indictment, U.S. Attorney David Nahmias said Benoit received a 10-month supply of steroids from Astin every three to four weeks during a period from May 2006 until May 2007.

According to a story published by TheSmokingGun.com, federal Drug Enforcement Agents identified Benoit as an "excessive purchaser of injectable steroids."

Although large quantities of prescription drugs, including steroids, were found in Benoit's home, WWE officials previously said Benoit tested negative for drugs in April and that it "is entirely wrong for speculators to suggest that steroids had anything to do" with the deaths.

In a statement to Newsday Monday, the WWE stood by its drug testing policy, saying it is "one of the most aggressive of its kind compared to testing programs initiated by competitive sports organizations, and is unique for an entertainment company."

However, the statement added that the WWE "will make any improvements necessary to maintain it as a state-of-the-art program to the utmost betterment of our performers, fans, and business partners. ... It was designed to send a very clear message that WWE finds the abuse of drugs and steroids to be unacceptable."

In an interview last week, Manhasset steroid expert Dr. Gary Wadler criticized WWE's drug testing policy as "woefully lacking." Among the problems cited by Wadler, who sits on the committee of the World Anti-Doping Agency: WWE allows for a higher threshold of testosterone in a person's system than in other sports before considering a steroid test "positive," and WWE gives wrestlers up to an hour's notice between notification of a test and its administering. Wadler also noted that WWE prohibits only "non-medical use" of banned drugs and allows wrestlers to provide a doctor's explanation for use, even after testing positive.

"It's sort of opening up a Pandora's box to define what 'non-medical use' is," Wadler said.

The WWE did not respond to specific criticisms of its drug testing policy.
