MLW schliesst TV Deal ab - Nefercheperur - 25.03.2003

Die ach so unbekannte MLW ( ;) shoot)hat jetzt einen TV Deal mit dem Sunshine Network abgeschlossen.Ab dem 7 April wird woechentlich eine 2 Stuendige Show immer Montags um (11:00PM-12:00AM, ET/PT) laufen.Die Show wird MLW Underground heissen und von Joey Styles kommentiert.Der Sunshine Network ist ein Regionaler Sender in Florida der aber ueber Direct TV und Dish Network in den ganzen USA und in Canada zusehen ist.Damit hat es Major League Wrestling geschafft,einen TV Deal Landesweit zu bekommen,denn ersten seit dem ende der ECW und WCW.Denn Slot wollte auch die XWF haben und war ihr zugesichert,aber als Hogan damals absprang,verweigerte man denn Slot der XWF.Die MLW wird vorrallem versuchen nach eigenen Angaben eine alternative zur WWE zu werden,da man nicht auf Sports Entertaiment wert legt sondern auf Real Wrestling.Unter anderem treten fuer die MLW folgende Leute an:
-Terry Funk
-Steve Corino
-CW Anderson
-Christopher Daniels
-Jerry Lynn
-SAT
-Super Crazy
-Mike Awesome
-Satoshi Kojima ;)
-Vampiro
-Sabu
uvm

Persoenliche Anmerkung:Es wird interessant sein wie darauf NWA/TNA reagieren wird bzw die gesamte NWA.Da das doch ein starker fortschritt ist,da mans elbst denn Slot haben wollte.Vielleicht wird man sogar versuchen einige Wrestler unter exklusiv vertraege zu nehmen bzw wird das auch die MLW versuchen.

Und damit das Todesurteil für die Liga fällen, zumindest für den Vertrag.

Und bei den tausenden von Indyligen muss man nicht wirklich jede einzelne kennen.

abwarten,es wird interessant sein wie alles ablaufen wird.Man darf nicht vergessen der druck ist nicht alzu gross.Man wird keine Konkurrenz zur WWE sein das ist klar,aber man kann eine alternative sein.Die NWA/TNA hat es gezeigt am Mittwoch abend mit ihrem PPV angebot.Okay die MLW wird wie die NWA/TNA eine Indypromotion bleiben,aber die WWE ist auch nicht aus dem nichts entstanden oder anders Rom wurde auch nicht an einem Tag erbaut Breites Grinsen

Folgende E Mail hat mich heute von der MLW erreicht:

Major League Wrestling, Inc. ("MLW") and the Sunshine
Network have reached an agreement for the weekly
television series MLW Underground(SM) which will begin
airing nationwide on DirecTV, the Dish Network, and
throughout Florida on cable on Monday nights at 11:00PM-
12:00AM (ET/PT) with replays through out the week starting
April 7th.

With MLW Underground TV: Episode 1 just days away
(premiering April 7th on the Sunshine Network), MLW.com
pulled aside some of MLW's talent to discuss their
thoughts on this milestone achievement:

Da die MLW erst drei Shows hatte (und schon wieder ein Grund warum man die Liga noch nicht kennen MUSS), dürfte es schwer werden auf dauer die Sendezeit auszufüllen. ;)

Da die Promotion aber schon relativ lange existiert durch diverse andere Matches in anderen Promotions duerfte sie schon bekannt sein ;)

Nun man wird ja ab dem 7 April woechentlich eine Live show machen die dann ausgestrahlt wird,bzw wird man woechentlcih tapings abhalten.Das Konzept ist gut,und man wird sich denke ich halten koennen.

Bei der ersten MLW Show auf dem Sunshine Network am Montag um 11pm et,sind bereits die ersten Matches bestaetigt worden:

-La Parka vs Jerry Lynn

-Taiyo Kea vs Malice

-Christopher Daniels vs Vampiro

das ganze wird moderiert von Joey Styles

Das hört sich halbwegs gut an, auch wenn ich nicht allen teilnehmenden etwas abgewinnen kann. Aber abwarten. Es kann fast nu besser werden als das, was die NWA/TNA zur Zeit abzieht. ;)
