NOTES FROM THE PRESIDENT 11/24/03
I am pleased to welcome Mr. James Brock as our newest NWA Member. He will be promoting in Australia as NWA Australia. The NWA now has 22 Worldwide Members representing promotions in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan & Australia.
NWA World Champion, Jeff Jarrett, is presently negotiating for title defenses tentatively scheduled for late January in Canada for NWA CWF and in Mississippi for NWA New South. It appears NWA National Champion, Ricky Murdock may be his opponent in Mississippi. Jeff Jarrett has appeared for NWA Virginia, NWA Florida, NWA Zero-One, NWA Alabama, and NWA SW (NWA Anniversary show in Corpus Christi).
I received word from NWA official Fred Richards (Mr. Fred) that he has been booked to officiate at the upcoming Zero-One Japan PPV on Sunday, 12/14. One can only assume that Mr. Fred will continue to complicate the relationship between Zero-One and the NWA.
I've heard from Ed Chuman (Director of Merchandise) and Joe Price (webmaster) that the NWA Shopzone at http://WWW.NWAWRESTLING.COM is nearly ready to go and that very soon brand new NWA merchandise will be available that can be ordered using your credit card and paypal. I've seen the new T-shirts and other product and they look great.
Also NWATNA has lots of new merchandise including three brand new DVD's that can be purchased at http://WWW.NWATNA.COM.
This week on NWATNA PPV, legendary 3 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion takes on the current 2 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett. NWATNA PPV's air live on Wednesdays at 8PM (ET) for only $9.95.
