Mike Goldberg ist wirklich ein Phenomen als Kommentator, er sagt nie etwas was Bedeutung haette, und dennoch sagte er in jedem Fight das Wrestler nicht gerne auf dem Ruecken sind. Von den ganzen Fragen an Joe Rogan die er ihm zum 286 mal stellt, ganz zuschweigen. Hier mal einige seiner bekanntesten Saetze, die er pro Show fast immer benutzt:
-So beginnt wirklich jeder UFC Event: “Hello everybody, I'm Mike Goldberg”
-“So you wanna be an Ultimate Fighter?”
-Jedesmal wenn ein Fight gut war und nach drei Runden endet:“Could we be blessed with a 4th round?”
-“You know they work hands at the Miletich camp.”
-“This is what the UFC is all about! Big elbows by Hughes!”
-“Matt and his brother Mark used to pound on each other down on the farm...”
-“And the Joint is jumping!”
-“This place is ELECTRIC!”
-“Horn is a jiu-jitsu guy, so he's not used to being on the top”
Waehrend dem Liddell vs Horn Fight bei UFC 54
-“What does it feel like, Joe?”
-“What does he have to do here, Joe?”
-“Matt Hughes is a wrestler, and wrestlers aren't used to being on their backs......right Joe?”
-“What a dominating performance Joe”
-Bei jeder Submission Technique kommt folgendes:“Jiu Jitsu 101!”
-“You know Roy Jones respects the hands of Forrest Griffin.” LOL
-Jedesmal wenn ein Fight sich dem ende naehert: “20 seconds remainS in the round”
-“Sponsored by Xyience…..”
-Wenn ein Fighter irgendwas macht:“Looks like something we'd see from Randy Couture”
-Wenn die Unterhaltung auf Randy Couture kommt:”That man is my hero.“
-Folgende Unterhaltung zwischen Goldberg/Rogan gibt es bei JEDEM UFC Event!
Mike Goldberg:”Let me remind you, these are not boxing gloves in which these fighters are wearing.”
Rogan: “No, these 4 oz. baby gloves that do nothing but cover the knuckles.”
-Oder auch:”Are you kidding me right now Joe, those aren't boxing gloves!”
-Vor dem Ken Shamrock vs Tito Ortiz II Fight bei UFC 61:”The fight that we have been waiting for... perhaps our entire lives.” WTF?
