McGregor bekommt als Garantiesumme $1 Millionen, und auch einen PPV Bonus. Er duerfte ca. $5-6 Millionen pro Fight verdienen.

Triple H und Vince McMahon haben sich nach UFC 200 und Brock Lesnar`s Sieg wie folgt geauessert:

Triple H:

“To come back after all the time and put on that kind of performance speaks to the once in a lifetime type of athlete that Brock is.”

Ich bezweifel, das Triple H wirklich den Fight angeschaut hat, ansonsten wuerde er kaum von “that kind of performance” sprechen.


Vince McMahon:

“Brock is the most formidable combat athlete in the history of the country.”

Bei Raw hat WWE auch noch mal den Bullshit von Vince und Triple H wiederholt.

They did a feature on Lesnar winning at UFC. It’s good that they did it, but then they got completely carried away. They called him the best fighter in the world. The problem with that is a large percentage of the WWE audience watched the fight and knows that’s bullshit so why even say it. Next they said he dominated all three rounds, when he actually lost the second and didn’t dominate the first. Then they called him the greatest combat athlete in this country’s history. Yes, like he’s better than Dan Gable, Cael Sanderson, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson. There’s exaggerations and hype and there’s just killing the credibility of the announcer, and in this case, one of the big issues is that the announcers have no credibility and that’s why they have such a hard time getting personalities and angles over to where people really care about them. This was as bad as when Striker claimed Swagger was a Heisman Trophy candidate. If nobody saw it they could say it and get away with it, but why do you want to tell people outright who have seen it that you’re completely full of shit and carnies.
