Zitat:The National Anthem started things off, with Justin Roberts ring announcing.
(1) Santino & Kozlov beat Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger. Good 15-minute match. Swagger and McIntyre dominated most of the match. Santino and Kozlov rallied, and Santino pinned McIntyre after the Cobra.
R-Truth delivered a post-match attack on Kozlov. Truth entered the ring to cut a promo on "Wakima." Good heat here. He demanded an opponent to the ring. Evan Bourne came out to challenge Truth.
(2) R-Truth beat Evan Bourne. The match ended when Bourne missed with Air Bourne and Truth hit the Lie Detector. Truth delivered a post-match attack on Bourne, including a shot with a water bottle. Truth had great heel heat starting with the local promo, and never lost it. Bourne had a good crowd response.
(3) Great Khali beat Ted DiBiase. Khali won this one in a short match. Lethal "Flair chops" by Khali in this one.
(4) Ezekiel Jackson beat Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett via DQ; Barrett retained the IC Title. Jackson came out first to cut a promo saying that if we had been watching Smackdown the last few weeks, we would know why he left the Corre. He called Wade Barrett out. Good preview for Over the Limit, with back-and-forth action leading to the DQ via chair shot to the back by Barrett. Jackson had the last laugh, executing his finisher on Barrett.
Main event six-man tag changed to an eight-man tag match with Christan and Mark Henry added.
(5) Sin Cara beat Chavo Guerrero. Great reaction for Cara - standard walk to the ring, no trampoline. Cara was dominated by Guerrero most of the match, Cara got some offense towards the end, and picked up the victory. They could have the makings of an awesome feud together.
Justin Roberts introduced Kelly Kelly for the usual dance-off. A young kid, a woman, and two guys were chosen. The young kid won, and chose to meet John Cena backstage. Roberts did merchandise plugs heading to intermission.
[Intermission]
(6) Eve & Melina beat the Bella Twins. Longer match than usual for the Divas. Eve got the pin and the victory. Good match to bring in the crowd following intermission.
(7) U.S. champion Kofi Kingston beat Dolph Ziggler to retain the U.S. Title. Ziggler came out sans Vickie Guerrero. The crowd was hot for Kofi in this one. Ziggler tried avoiding Kofi at the start, but Kofi would have none of that. Great match with lots of offense in the middle. I could also see these two feuding as well. Eventually, Kofi connected with a Boom Drop and tried going for Trouble In Paradise, but Ziggler countered into a sleeper hold. Later, Kofi did manage to hit Trouble In Paradise for the victory.
Next up was the main event eight-man tag match. Miz entered first to good heat, followed by C.M. Punk with monster heat, and Mark Henry out next to a fairly mixed boos and cheers reaction. It shows Henry's heel turn has not been built up well so far. Alberto Del Rio was out last for the heels sans Ricardo and his car. Christian was out first for the faces to a decent cheer. Big Show was out next to a great pop, especially from the kids. Randy Orton was out next to the biggest pop of the night to that point...that is until John Cena, who did a full ring entrance and received a monster pop from the largely pro-Cena crowd. There was some talking amongst themselves before Del Rio cut a promo on Yakima, saying there is a lot of Mexicans in the arena, and proceeded to say something to them in Spanish. Big Show then grabbed the mic and made fun of Del Rio and did a Del Rio voice impression. Funny stuff!
(8) WWE champion John Cena & World Hvt. champion Randy Orton & WWE tag champion Big Show & Christian beat The Miz & Alberto Del Rio & Mark Henry & C.M. Punk in an eight-man tag match. The match started with Orton and Miz. Great action in this match with a great moment when Show was in the ring and Henry tagged in, leading to the World's Strongest Man staring down the World's Largest Athlete. There was also a great moment when Cena took his shirt off and threw to the fans, and the heels mocked him by instead throwing their shirts to Miz.
The match came to an end when Christian hit the Killswitch on Del Rio, Punk then hit Christian with the GTS, Big Show with the Knockout Punch to Punk, Henry shoved Show out of the ring, Orton hit the RKO on Henry, Miz delivered Skullcrushing Finale on Orton, and Cena delivered the Attitude Adjustment on Miz, good for the pin on Miz for the win.
Afterward, the faces stood center ring to raise their hands and the three belts between them up high and send the fans home happy. Great action in the match. End of show.
Overall, great experience with great in-ring action! No return date was announced. Cena merchandise did well, with an autographed Cena print for sale going for 30 bucks. The arena was between 80-85 percent full - great crowd for a house show. No sections were tarped off and crowd was largely involved the whole night.
