Ich wollte mir das Lied eigentlich aufsparen, aber es geht einfach nicht mehr, muss raus.
Chris De Burgh - A Spaceman Came Travelling
Dieser Song kam zuerst als Teil des Albums "Spanish Train And Other Storys" im Jahr 1975 heraus und wurde seitdem vier Mal als Singleversion erneut veröffentlich - zuerst lediglich ein Jahr nach der Albumversion. Er ist seitdem ein sehr beliebtes und bekanntes Weihnachtslied von dem unzählige Coverversionen existieren. Sein Text handelt von der Verkündigung der Geburt Christi durch den Erzengel Gabriel, wobei Gabriel in De Burghs Text durch einen Außerirdischen ersetzt wird. Weiterhin ist natürlich der Refrain ein absoluter Klassiker und auch Leuten bekannt, die ihn dem Lied nicht zu ordnen können.
