Hast du das Rezept 2009 nicht auch schon gepostet? Kann mich an Eggnog erinnern, bin mir aber nicht sicher. Finds auf jeden Fall eine sehr gut Idee!

Ich hab Eggnog 2009 schonmal vorgestellt jup, aber dieses Jahr halt selber zum ersten Mal gemacht. Da dachte ich mir, das kann man doch mal dokumentieren.

Nein, ich habe in letzter Zeit versucht und werde es auch in Zukunft versuchen, gänzlich auf Alkohol zu verzichten und dan Rum laut Definition als Alkohol gilt, ist dieses Getränk leider zu "hart" für mich. *klugscheisseroff²*

Und zum Wochenanfang wieder Musik.

John Lennon - Happy XMas (War is Over)

Man kann selbstverständlich keine Liste über großartige Lieder schreiben ohne mindestens einmal die Beatles zu erwähnen. Leider haben es die vier Jungs zusammen nicht geschafft, einen Weihnachtsklassiker zu schreiben, aber der gute John Lennon hat das solo mit seiner Frau Yoko Ono dann doch hingekriegt. "Happy XMas" kam 1971 heraus und war ursprünglich als Protestsong gegen den Vietnamkrieg gedacht, der zu dieser Zeit schon stark in der Kritik stand. Aber wie das nun einmal so ist, entwickeln gute Lieder oft eine Eigendynamik und so ist "Happy XMas" mittlerweile für das bekannt, was der erste Teil seines Titels aussagt: ein schönes Weihnachtslied, das man sich gerne anhört.

Es tut mir echt Leid. Eigentlich wollte ich heute morgen den Endspurt beginnen, weil ich erst um 14 Uhr Uni hatte, aber ich habs ernsthaft geschafft sogar dafür zu verpennen. 8-)

Frau Kerr sagt, Endspurt startet morgen, wir sehen uns dann.

Endspurt wieder mit einem nicht-deutschen Weihnachtsklassiker (die deutschen kennen wir ja alle, nicht wahr).

Declan Galbraith - Walking in the Air

Dieses Lied war ursprünglich Teil des Soundtracks des Animationsfilms "The Snowman" von 1982, eine Verfilmung des Kinderbuchs von Raymond Briggs. In dieser Geschichte erwacht ein Schneemann zum Leben und fliegt mit einem kleinen Jungen zum Nordpol, wo dieser an einer Schneemannfeier teilnimmt und den Weihnachtsmann mit seinen Rentieren trifft. Das Lied wurde von zahlreichen Interpreten gesunden, zuerst für den Film von einem Chorjungen der St. Paul's Cathedral, für den eigentlichen Singlerelease vom Waliser Aled Jones, der dadurch berühmt wurde, aber auch beispielsweise von der Goth Metal Band Nightwish. Die Version, die ich euch vorstelle, ist von Declan Galbraith, nicht weil sie die technisch beste ist, sondern weil sie das meiste Gefühl hat. Dazu ist das Video schön. ;)

Noch zwei Tage bis Heiligabend. Vorletzte Chance sich noch um Geschenke zu kümmern. Nehmt doch einfach das hier als gute Laune Soundtrack mit.

Ach, wenn das Lied doch nur zu mehr als 50% recht hätte. Ja, es ist kalt draußen, aber von Schnee keine Spur. Na ja, wie auch immer. Dieses Weihnachtslied wird prinzipiell als Duett gesunden. Ich habe euch mal zwei Versionen mitgebracht, eine lustige, zu der ich leider nur den Ton und nicht das Video gefunden habe, von Louis Armstrong und Velma Middleton sowie einer eher "ernste" Interpretation von Michael Bublé und Ann Murray.
