RAW Breakdown 03.09.12


As noted before, the September 3rd Labor Day edition of WWE RAW did a 2.83 cable rating with 4.19 million viewers. Compared to previous Labor Day shows, the 2011 show did a 2.99 rating, 2010 did a 3.00 rating, 2009 did a 3.83 rating with Bob Barker as guest host, 2008 did a 2.93 rating and 2007 did a 3.64 rating.
The stuff with CM Punk, Jerry Lawler and Sheamus opened strong with a 2.90 quarter rating. Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton gained 25,000 viewers while the tag match with Tensai and Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara lost 175,000 viewers. The second anger management skit and the other segment with Punk and Sheamus gained 370,000 viewers at the 9pm timeslot.
Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger and Kaitlyn vs. Eve Torres lost 85,000 viewers. The final anger management skit with Kane and Daniel Bryan arguing lost 310,000 viewers. Jinder Mahal vs. Ryback gained 243,000 viewers. Kane and Bryan hugging at the top of the 10pm hour lost 55,000 viewers for a 3.02 quarter rating – a bad number for that time slot.
Santino Marella vs. Antonio Cesaro for the United States Title and Heath Slater vs. Zack Ryder lost 591,000 viewers and did a 2.53 quarter rating – one of the lowest of the year. This was the big drop in the show and the period that killed the third hour rating. The segment with Vickie Guerrero and AJ Lee gained 238,000 viewers while the Falls Count Anywhere Match with John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio gained 442,000 viewers for a 2.99 overrun rating – down a lot from usual.

- Die aktuelle Ausgabe von Friday Night SmackDown!, die am 07. September ausgestrahlt wurde, kam auf ein Gesamtrating von exakt 1.95 Punkten. Im Vergleich zur Vorwoche verbesserte sich der Wert somit wieder um 0.06 Punkte. Auch in Sachen Zuschauerzahlen ging es wieder deutlich bergauf - so haben 2,950,000 Zuschauer die Ausgabe am Freitagabend verfolgt, rund 300,000 mehr als in der Vorwoche.

- Die aktuelle Ausgabe von Monday Night RAW, die am 10. September ausgestrahlt wurde, kam auf ein schwaches Gesamtrating von exakt 2.88 Punkten. Somit hat man sich im Vergleich zur Vorwoche wieder um 0.05 Punkte verbessert, zufrieden kann man mit diesem Wert aber trotzdem nicht sein. In Sachen Zuschauerzahlen ging es allerdings bergab - so haben nur rund 4,136,000 Menschen die Ausgabe am Montagabend verfolgt, rund 60,000 weniger als in der Woche zuvor. RAW hatte montags allerdings sehr starke Konkurrenz in Form eines double-headers - die beiden Monday Night Football Games auf ESPN erreichten durchschnittliche Zuschauerzahlen von 10,96 bzw. 10,45 Millionen Zuschauern.

- Die aktuelle Ausgabe von Friday Night SmackDown!, die am 14. September ausgestrahlt wurde, kam auf ein Gesamtrating von exakt 1,96 Punkten. Im Vergleich zur Vorwoche konnte man sich somit wieder minimal um 0,01 Punkte steigern. Die Zuschauerzahl ging jedoch auf knapp 2,690,000 zurück - rund 250,000 weniger als in der Woche zuvor. Es handelte sich dabei um die letzte Ausgabe vor dem Night of Champions PPV.

- Die aktuelle Ausgabe von Monday Night RAW, die am 17. September ausgestrahlt wurde, kam auf ein schwaches Gesamtrating von exakt 2.90 Punkten. Somit hat man sich im Vergleich zur Vorwoche wieder um minimale 0.02 Punkte verbessert. In Sachen Zuschauerzahlen ging es allerdings ein wenig bergab - so haben nur rund 4,051,667 Menschen die Ausgabe am Montagabend verfolgt, das sind rund 150,000 weniger als in der Woche zuvor. In dieser Woche konnte man erneut einen negativen Trend der dritten Stunde beobachten, die deutlich schlechter abschnitt als die ersten beiden. Diesmal fiel die letzte Stunde sogar unter die 4. Mio-Marke.

RAW Breakdown vom 24.09.12

- As noted before, the September 24th WWE RAW did a 2.72 rating with 3.78 million viewers – the lowest of the year and the lowest rated non-holiday RAW since 1997.

In the segment breakdown, they opened with the second strongest segment of the show with Paul Heyman, CM Punk, AJ Lee and Brad Maddox at a 2.99 quarter. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler lost 262,000 viewers. Santino Marella and Zack Ryder vs. Titus O’Neil and Darren Young lost 295,000 more viewers for a 2.59 quarter.

The segment with Punk and Mick Foley at 9pm gained 877,000 viewers, one of the best growth segments in weeks for a 3.22 quarter rating. Ryback vs. The Miz and a diner segment with Kane and Daniel Bryan lost 533,000 viewers. Tyson Kidd vs. Wade Barrett and the interview with Jerry Lawler stayed even. This isn’t confirmed but it’s likely a loss with Kidd vs. Barrett and then the returns for Lawler.

David Otunga, Ricardo Rodriguez and Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara, Sheamus and Rey Mysterio lost 129,000 viewers for a 2.75 quarter at 10pm. Once again, the third hour of RAW is hurting people tuning in at 10pm. The third segment with Kane and Bryan and the attack from Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow lost 412,000 viewers for a 2.45 quarter rating. This was one of the worst RAW quarter ratings in well over a decade until Layla and Alicia Fox vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres plus Tensai vs. Brodus Clay lost 34,000 viewers for a 2.43 quarter rating.

The final segment with John Cena, Punk and Heyman gained 428,000 viewers for a 2.74 quarter rating – a very bad number for the overrun.

Wobei mich bei sowas ja immer mal interessieren würde, voran die Zuschauer verloren gingen, haben die einfach kein TV mehr geschaut, oder gab es irgendwo eine beliebte Show oder ein Sport-Event?

So sagt das alleine für mich nicht viel aus.
Wenn ich bedenke, wieviel ich im TV schon rumzappe, wenn mal wieder Werbung ist, und dann irgendwo hängen bleibe und das Programm davor vergessen habe - und in USA ist das mit der Werbung ja noch tausendmal schlimmer als bei uns :winke:

@Zar so siehts aus.

Andere wollen vielleicht auch nicht minutenlange Promos hören
selbst wenn Punk involviert ist und schalten dann weg, weil Sie wissen es kommt kein Match mehr. (geht mir persönlich oft so dass ich Promos die ja mitlerweile 10-15 Min dauern können komplett skippe oder eben teilweise)
Mache interessiert wohl auch hauptsächlich die In-Ring Perfomance.
Ich pers. gebe nicht viel auf Ratings, hab das ne zeitlang mal verfolgt um da einen Sinn zu finden, habs dann aber aufgegeben.

Ich finde das Rating sagt nicht viel über die Qualität ( Promos,Matches, Storyline-Fortschritt, Starpower ) aus, nur manchmal !

Bei mir ist es also so, dass ich fast schon NUR die Promos anschaue und die Matches skippe ;)
CM Punk ist für mich momentan das einzige Interessante an der WWE.

RAW Breakdown vom 01.10.12


- As noted before, the October 1st WWE RAW did a 2.54 cable rating with 3.50 million viewers. This is the lowest rated non-holiday RAW in 15 years.

In the segment breakdown, the opening segment with CM Punk, Paul Heyman, Vickie Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee, Kane and Daniel Bryan started with a 2.74 quarter rating and gained 4,000 viewers. Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio vs. Primo and Epico plus Antonio Cesaro vs. Brodus Clay lost 461,000 viewers. Zack Ryder vs. The Miz lost another 47,000 viewers and did a 2.37 quarter rating.

The debate with Big Show and Sheamus gained 421,000 viewers which is about the same as the usual 9pm growth. Tensai vs. Ryback and Eve Torres vs. Beth Phoenix lost 350,000 viewers. Santino Marella vs. Heath Slater gained 222,000 viewers. Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow lost 63,000 viewers in the 10pm timeslot.

The 10pm timeslot was scheduled to kick off with the Jim Ross Appreciation Night angle with Punk, Heyman and Ryback but they didn’t really get into it until 10:15pm, which usually posts a big loss. However, instead of a big loss the JR segment gained 461,000 viewers for a show-high 2.89 quarter rating.

Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio lost 824,000 viewers for a 2.29 quarter rating. This is the lowest quarter for a regular episode of RAW in 15 years. Basically, 21% of all viewers who saw the JR segment tuned out when that segment ended. 38% of teenage boys, 25% of Males 18-49, 28% of teenage girls and 20% of Women 18-49 tuned out at that point.

The main event with Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler gained 532,000 viewers for a 2.70 overrun rating.
