UFC entlaesst Christiane Santos

Die UFC hat Christiane (Cyborg) Santos entlassen, Dana White bestaetigte nun die Entlassung. Die UFC versuchte Rousey vs Santos zu booken, allerdings wollte Santos nicht in die 135 Pounds Division wechseln. Also bot die UFC an das sie bei Invicta FC antritt in der 145 Pounds Division, aber auch das lehnte Santos ab. Dana White sagte nun das man mehrere Szenarien Santos anbot um auf Rousey zu treffen, selbst ein 140 Pounds Fight bot man ihr an, doch auch das lehnte sie ab. Ortiz bat Anfang der Woche um die Entlassung seiner Fighterin, und die UFC entliess sie nun auch. Dana White meinte dazu:“Cyborg is pretty much irrelevant right now. She really is. She’s irrelevant. Go out there and win some fights again, get your name back, stay clean, stay off some steroids and get your career back on track and then we’ll talk. But for her to think that everybody should move around and jump through hoops for her is insane.”

Dana White:“We were going to sign her to a contract and then we were going to have her fight in Invicta – which means we'd pay all the bills for her to fight in Invicta. "She'd be under a UFC contract with all the perks and benefits of being a UFC fighter, and would fight in Invicta. So instead of doing that, they chose to not do that – and fight in Invicta. If you can make logic out of that whole f---ing situation, you're a better man than I.”

Also die UFC wollte Cyborg behalten und bei Invicta FC antreten lassen bis man sich auf was neues geeinigt hat, das lehnte Ortiz ab und jetzt tritt sie fuer weniger Geld bei Invicta FC an? Mmhhh
