When I first started wrestling I had a very modest goal - I simply wanted to wrestle. I didn't care about having my own t shirt or whether or not people would make a version of me in Fire Pro. I didn't have dreams of being on a DVD cover or getting my own action figure (which is really a DOLL,if you ask me...). It wasn't about "being a star",it was about being a wrestler. It was about the matches themselves,not the pomp and circumstance that surrounded them.

It's been more than seven years since I first set foot in a ring,and I've accomplished quite a bit. I've wrestled all across the U.S. and in three foreign countries,main evented a PPV,and shared the ring with many of the wrestlers that inspired me to start wrestling in the first place. In spite of everything I've accomplished in the last seven years,or anything I accomplish in the future,it's become clear to me that I'm always going to be seen as "a CHIKARA guy".

In a way,that in itself is a bit of an accomplishment. Truth be told,I'm one of the guys CHIKARA was built on. In the company that reinvigorated tag team wrestling,I'm half of one of the top tag teams. In the company that does trios matches better than anyone,I'm one of the Kings of Trios. For seven years,I've excelled as a tag team wrestler. But that's the thing...I didn't start wrestling to be a tag team wrestler.

One of the things I love about EVOLVE is that there are clearly defined,focused divisions. You're either a singles wrestler,or a tag team wrestler. It's because of this opportunity that I've decided to take the reins and steer my career in a new direction. I've disbanded my team in EVOLVE and entered myself into the singles division. In EVOLVE,I'll get to stand on my own two feet,sink or swim on my own merits,and most importantly - I'll get to be the wrestler I intended to be back when I first started this journey. After seven years of wrestling almost exclusively in a tag team,I'm starting off on a new path. On March 13,I take my first steps...
