Detroit Red Wings Goalie Dominik Hasek kann es kaum erwarten bis der erste April kommt. Aber das hat nichts damit zutun das die Red Wings am ersten April bei den Columbus Blue Jackets spielen, sondern damit das der Dominator kaum noch Wrestlemania 23 abwarten kann. Auf die Frage wie denn die Plaene waeren meinte Hasek:“Get from Columbus and go directly to Ford Field.” 
Hasek wird mit seinem Sohn Michael, und dem seinen Freund Wrestlemania besuchen:“I used to watch (wrestling) a lot more, but through the years, I've stopped a little bit. But when I heard that Donald Trump was in WrestleMania, and may have to shave his head, I watched it the last few weeks.”
Als Hasek noch bei den Buffalo Sabres spielte, ging er oft zu den WWF Shows in Buffalo:”You know everything is made up, everything is about the story, but if you go and have good seats, you see these big guys and they're good athletes. They can jump, do flips -- I was amazed. They're huge, 6-foot-4, even 7-feet tall, and they're like gymnasts. It's a hard sport, I tell you.” Und wer sind seine Favs?:“The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin -- that's when I was the biggest fan.”
