Weitere Details wurden nun in diesem Fall bekannt:

-Dr Astin hat in einem Zeitraum von zwei Jahren ueber eine Millionen (!) Dosen an Drogen (Painkiller & anabolische Steroide) verschrieben!!! Der zustaendige Agent meinte:“Dr Astin hat die Drogen verschrieben wie Suessigkeiten.“

-Dr Astin ist verhaftet worden, und mit $125,000 Kaution wieder frei gekommen. Seine Lizenz als Arzt wurde ihm entzogen, und er muss in seinem Haus bleiben bis zur Verhandlung.

-Bei Daniel, dem Sohn von Nancy und Chris, soll es mittlerweile Zweifel geben, ob er wirklich am Fragile X Syndrom leidet. Weder die Gross Eltern, noch die Lehrer sollen davon etwas mitbekommen haben. Ausserdem sei in der Medizinischen Akte von Daniel keinerlei Erwaehnung das er Fragile X gehabt habe. Ob Daniel nun wirklich an Fragile X gelitten hat, sollen Untersuchungen zeigen. Sollte aber Daniel kein Fragile X gehabt haben, dann faellt damit auch die erste Verteidigungsstrategie der WWE zusammen, die ja das als ein Motiv anfuehrten.

-Chris Benoit dachte in der Tat, das er und seine Familie verfolgt werden, er soll ziemlich Paranoid gewessen sein. Das ganze ging sogar soweit, das er unterschiedliche Routen nahm vom Flughafen nach Hause, um seine “Verfolger“ abzuschuetteln.

-UND, die Polizei geht nicht davon aus das es ein “Roid Rage“ Akt war, jedoch geht die Polizei davon aus das der Steroidmissbrauch die Paranoia nur noch verschlimmert hat.

In den Zeitungen und im Fernsehen berichten immernoch die groessten Medien darueber jeden Tag in den Nachrichten. Wie schon gesagt, mit abstand die groesste Newsstory die es im Pro Wrestling jemals gab.


Ansonsten zu der News von Fox, auch das ist wieder ein Beweiss das die WWE Drogenpolitik ein Witz ist. Chris Benoit wurde waehrend diesem Zeitraum von May 2006 bis May 2007, viermal getestet, alle negativ, zuletzt eben am 10 April 2007. Jetzt wissen wir aber das in diesem Zeitraum Chris Benoit soviel Steroide nahm, das selbst Ronnie Coleman blass werden wuerde. Also frage an WWE, wie konnte das passieren wenn ihr doch eine so gute “Wellness“ Policy habt? Die Medien werden sich darauf stuerzen.

Sehr aufschlußreich was Jericho sagt. So in etwa es gibt ein Wellness Programm, das geht sogar über reinen Doping Test hinaus, also kann die WWE nichts dafür und hat alles richtig gemacht.

Ergo: Verarsche in voller Aktion, da sich (vgl Nef. oben) niemand das Programm genau durchgelesen und hinterfragt hat. Aber es reicht, um in den Medien einen guten Eindruck zu machen und das ist wichtiger als aktive Drogenbekämpfung.

Off topic: Es scheint, als wolle sich Jericho mit allen Mitteln die Rückkehr zur WWE offen halten, sonst könnte er etwas deutlicher werden, aber er redet nur um den heißen Brei herum.

INTRODUCTION
At all times relevant to this Indictment :

1 . The Controlled Substances Act governed the manufacture,
distribution, and dispensing of controlled substances in the
United States .
2 . Various prescription drugs were scheduled substances under the
Controlled Substances Act . There were five schedules of
controlled substances - Schedules I, II, III,, IV, and V .
Drugs were scheduled into these levels based on their
potential for abuse, among other things . Schedule II drugs
have a high potential for abuse that can lead to severe
psychological or physical dependence. Abuse of Schedule III
drugs may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high
psychological dependence. Abuse of Schedule IV drugs may lead
to more limited physical, dependence or psychological
dependence .relative to the drugs or other substances in
Schedule III. 21 U.S.C.§§ 812(b)(2),(3), and (4) .

3 . Title 21, United States Code, Section 822(b), and Title 21,
Code of Federal Regulations, Section 290.1, provided that

controlled substances listed in Schedule 11, III, or IV may be

dispensed or distributed only by prescription by a licensed

practitioner .

4 . Title 21, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 1306 .04,
provided that in order for a prescription for a controlled

substance to be valid, it "must be issued for a legitimate

medical purpose by an individual practitioner acting in the

usual course of his professional practice ." This section

further provided that :

The responsibility for the proper prescribing

and dispensing of controlled substances is

upon the prescribing practitioner . . . . An

order purporting to be a prescription issued

not in the usual course of professional

treatment or in legitimate and authorized

research is not a prescription within the

meaning and intent of section 309 of the Act

(21 U.S.C . 829) and the person knowingly
filling such a purported prescription, as well
as .the person issuing it, shall be subject to
the penalties provided for violations of the
provisions of law relating to controlled
substances .

5. Title 21, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 1306 .05,
provided thatail prescriptions for controlled substances must

be dated and signed on the date that they are issued.

6. Oxycodone, an opiate, was a Schedule II controlled substance .
21 C .F .R. § 1308 .12 (b) (1) . Percocet was a brand name of a

prescription drug that contained oxycodone, and therefore was

classified as a Schedule II controlled substance .

7 . Amphetamine, its salts, optical isomers, and salts of its
optical isomers, were Schedule II controlled substances . 21
C.F.R . § 1308.12(d)(1 ) Adderall was a brand name of a
prescription drug that contained amphetamine, and therefore
was classified as .a Schedule II controlled substance .
8 . Hydrocodone, a semi-synthetic opioid derived from two of the
naturally occurring opiates, codeine and thebaine, wass a
Schedule III controlled substance. 21 C.F.R . § 1308.13(e) .
Lorcet was a brand name of a prescription drug that contained
hydrocodone, and therefore was classified as a Schedule III
controlled substance.

9. Alprazolam, a short acting drug in the class of central
nervous. system agents Benzodiazepines, was a Schedule IV
controlled substance. 21 C.F.R. § 1308.14©(1). Xanax was a
brand name of a prescription drug that contained alprazolam,
and therefore was classified as a Schedule IV controlled
substance .

FORFEITURE PROVISION


Upon conviction of the controlled substance offences alleged
in Counts One through Seven of this Indictment, defendant PHIL
ASTIN III shall forfeit to the United States pursuant to Title 21,
United States Code, Section 853, (a) all property constituting, or
derived from, proceeds obtained, directly or indirectly,, as a
result of the said violations, and (b) all property used, or
intended to be used, in any manner or part, to commit, or to
facilitate the commission of said violations, pursuant to Title 21,
United States Code, Section 853 . If any of the property described
above as being subject to forfeiture, as a result of any act or
omission of a defendant :

a. cannot be located upon the exercise of due diligence ;
b. has been transferred or sold to, or deposited with, a
third person;
c. has been placed beyond the jurisdiction of the Court ;
d. has been substantially diminished in value ; or
e . has been commingled with other property which cannot be
subdivided without difficulty;
it is the intent of the United States, pursuant to Title 21, United
States Code, Section 853(p), to seek forfeiture of any other

Neighbor who found Benoit family flees to Hub
Don’t breathe a word of this. Because nobody’s supposed to know. But the woman who found the bodies of WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son is in Boston hiding out while the worldwide media stakes out her home in Georgia.

Holly McFague, a former Boston publicist, lived next door to the Benoits in suburban Atlanta and had a key to their home. She went in to check on the family after Benoit’s WWE colleagues, who received bizarre text messages from the wrestler, called police to check on their well-being.

“To say she is upset is an understatement,” said George Regan, who is representing McFague, his former employee at Regan Communications. “She’s very shaken up and she can’t go home because her house is surrounded by media.”

Police believe the pro wrestler known as “The Canadian Crippler” strangled his wife, Nancy Daus Benoit, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, before hanging himself last week on the cable of a weight-machine in his home.

According to Regan, police went to McFague’s house and accompanied her to the wrestler’s home to check on the Benoits. But the officers were afraid to go inside because there were two large attack dogs.

“Holly knew the dogs and they knew her so she went in alone,” Regan said. “She found the body of the wife and son and ran screaming from the house.”

Regan said McFague, who runs an events company in Atlanta, had spoken to Benoit sometime on Saturday and he told her his wife and son were sick with food poisoning.

“He told her this big, long story about how sick they were,” Regan said. “At the time she was thinking that it was way too much information.”

Police believe that Benoit killed his wife on Friday, June 22, strangled his son on the 23rd and then committed suicide on 24th. The bodies were discovered in the afternoon of June 25.

Regan said McFague was close to Nancy and her son, who suffered from Fragile X syndrome that causes mental retardation, but that she didn’t care for Benoit.

“She found him very odd to say the least,” he said. “But she was very close to his wife, and the little boy was friendly with her children.”

Regan said McFague kept horses at her home and that Daniel would come over to see the animals frequently.

Police have not said what they believe is the motive for the slayings, although steroids were found in the house, leading to speculation that Benoit may have executed his family in a fit of “’roid rage.”

Die Frage passt nicht direkt zu diesem Thread, aber wieviel verdienen die Superstars der WWE pro Kampf/im Jahr, dass es sich lohnt den Körper mit anabolen Steroiden so zu "mißhandeln"?

Es ist beängstigend, wenn man liest, wieviele Wrestler vor dem 50 Lebensjahr versterben.

Bei der TNA verdient Angle 600.000 Dollar, Sting 500.000 Dollar, Cage soll 400.000 Dollar verdienen...
Das sind dann aber auch die Topverdiener bei TNA...

Bei WWE stand irgenwo mal wieviel HBK für seinen neuen Vertrag bekommen hat und das soll enorm gewesen sein... weiß aber die genaue Zahl nicht mehr und will sie daher nicht einwerfen...

Man kann aber davon ausgehen das die ME der WWE mind. auf den Standard der TNA sein werden...
