BJ Penn will Comeback geben

Letztes Jahr trat BJ Penn im July 2014 zurueck, nun sagte er bei UFC Tonight das er zurueck kommen will. Penn ist 36 Jahre, hat einen 16-10-2 Record und will im Featherweight antreten. Er verlor seine letzten drei Fights in Folge, gewann seinen letzten Fight 2010 gegen Matt Hughes. Wenn man gar die letzten 8 Fights nimmt ist er 1-7-1. Penn nannte seinen letzten Fight mit Frank Edgar ein “disgrace“, und will nicht das sein letzter Fight so in Erinneung bleibt. Penn hat uebrigens Conor McGregor herausgefordert…ouch.

Nick Lenth hat auf BJ Penn`s Herausforderung reagiert und gesagt das er ihn gerne Richtig retiren wuerde. Lentz meinte:

“I don't even and have not worked with Dolce for quite some time...so fighting with me will have nothing to do with Dolce...but for the record...fuck you BJ. You talk too much now...you use to be about actions, but now like the spoiled little rich kid you are, all you do is talk. I'll gladly fight you anytime. BJ Penn trainiert aktuell nach eigener Aussage bereits wieder und hat nun Nik Lentz fuer UFC 197 am 5 Maerz herausgefordert:

“This is a formal challenge for Nik Lentz to meet me in the Octagon March 5 in Las Vegas. Nik, you wrote a silly poem about me making fun of me; you said stuff about me and my parents, and you been making a #bringpennback hashtag. I ask you today to be a man and back up everything you said; talk the talk, walk the walk. Uncle B.J. is mad already.”

Please, no...Lentz ist zwar sehr langsam, im Standup nicht gut, aber so wie BJ bei seinen letzten Fights aussah wuerde ich klar Lentz favorisieren.

BJ Penn hat jetzt bestaetigt das er definitiv zurueck kommen wird, und zwar als Featherweight. Laut Penn, will er der erste Fighter werden der in drei Gewichtsklassen UFC Title hielt. Ausserdem trainiert er bereits seit Monaten bei Greg Jackson und ist bereits jetzt in Fighting Shape.

BJ Penn meinte:

“I want to go get that 145-pound belt. That’s definitely a huge motivation for m. I believe with Greg Jackson’s help, I can get that done. And I believe that I will be able to walk away as the only man with three titles in three weight divisions.”

Was man erwaehnen sollte, wenn Penn zurueck kommt in der 145 Pounds Division…da ist gerade Frank Edgar der #1 Contender, und Edgar hat Penn bereits dreimal besiegt.

Ich wollte jetzt fast fragen ob BJ Penn in akuter Geldnot steckt, aber ich glaube das kann man sich sparen. Penn's letzte Performances waren terrible und es gab einen klar definierten Hintergrund warum er retired ist.

Ich glaube eher das die UFC das eingefädelt hat weil sie mal wieder ein Zugpferd braucht nachdem ihre Hypetrains mit schöner Regelmäßigkeit crashen oder die Posterboys wie Weidman plötzlich ihren Titel verlieren.

Die UFC hat das Comeback von BJ Penn verschoben, nach dem ein ehemaliger Mitarbeiterin von BJ Penn`s Webseite BJ penn vorgeworfen hat das er seine Freundin Sexuell misshandelt haben soll. Der Vorfall soll sich im August 2015 ereignet haben, und es liegt auch schon eine Anzeige bei der Polizei vor.

Die UFC gab in dem Statement folgendes bekannt:

“UFC is aware of the recent allegations made against B.J. Penn. The organization requires all athletes who compete in the UFC to act in an ethical and responsible manner, as detailed in the UFC Fighter Conduct Policy. UFC will not tolerate violations of the policy. Every athlete is deserving of proper review and this situation, as with any serious investigations, will be investigated by an independent party and thoroughly reviewed by the UFC. The UFC organization will also cooperate with any law enforcement investigations. In light of the serious allegations, UFC has postponed plans to book Penn for an upcoming bout until more details are determined.

UFC holds athletes who compete in the organization to the highest standard and will continue to take appropriate action, if and when warranted. It is important to note that Penn is considered innocent until proven guilty and UFC is not prejudging this matter.”

BJ Penn, 37 Jahre, ist seit dem Sommer 2014 retired, wollte jedoch im Fruehjahr sein UFC Comeback geben und trainierte dafuer bei Greg Jackson in New Mexico.
